Amigos de PR in Washington, DC sponsored and paid for a 747 cargo plane that flew from Miami to Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. 100,000 pounds of medical supplies and other emergency supplies were picked up at our Sterns New Jersey staging area and put on three 53’ tractor trailers, also with the financial support of Amigos de PR, driven to Miami, loaded up onto this 747 cargo jet and flown today Saturday oct 21st to PR, where they just finished offloading a few hours ago with all supplies headed to the people that urgently need them. It was an amazing team effort of fellow Americans Committed to helping their brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico from the New York New Jersey Connecticut area all the way down to DC and Florida. We still have a lot of work in front of us as there are millions and millions of pounds of emergency supplies stockpiled in warehouses and loading dock across America that need to get down to Puerto Rico
We are happy to say that 3, 53' trailers of supplies arrived today in Miami! These trailers contained 78 pallets, totaling 83,752 pounds of supplies! That's a little over 37 TONS of medical supplies that will be loaded onto a 747 cargo plane tonight to fly to Puerto Rico tomorrow morning! Thank you to everyone who has donated to this cause! Keep up the good work!
